📹️ Adobe announces text-to-video
This week, Adobe announced that it will be releasing new AI video tools in beta, later this year. These AI tools will enable users to turn text prompts and images into videos using its Firefly model.
The generated videos are capped at five seconds, but Adobe is testing ways to extend footage and fill gaps in editing timelines.
Adobe Firefly is trained on licensed content to avoid copyright issues, setting it apart from other AI models like OpenAI’s Sora.
Users will soon be able to test these features in beta versions.
Users will be able to fine-tune their creations, including configuring camera motion, camera angle, and shot size 👇️

Another notable feature coming to Adobe tools is “Generative Extend,” a feature that would enable users to lengthen videos by predicting the next few seconds based on existing footage.
This feature will be coming to Premiere Pro (beta) later this year as well.
Filling in missing video frames with “Generative Extend”
You will always be able to create complementary footage to fill gaps in your timeline with a generated clip based on a reference frame 🤯
