Framer, the popular, free, no-code website builder, just released the launch of “3D Transforms,” marking its most significant leap in no-code functionality yet.

This new update introduces over 10 new properties, enhances Effects, redesigns selection controls, and more.

Creating a 3D effect in Framer

Users can now position any layer in three-dimensional space by manipulating attributes such as Rotation, Skew, Origin, Depth, and Perspective.

💻️ Adobe Releases an All-New Frame.io, Available Now on Web, iPhone, and iPad

Adobe just released a huge update to Frame.io, a tool for virtually collaborating on video, design, and photo projects.

This update makes Frame.io even better for managing entire projects in one place. The V4 update is available to some users now and will reach more people later in the year.

💡 The free plan includes up to 2 users, 2GB storage, feedback tools, Camera to Cloud, and NLE integrations.

The TLDR: This new version, called Frame.io V4, adds features that let users tag and sort their work more easily, similar to apps like Notion or Asana.

Here’s a quick recap of the new updates:

  • A redesigned “Workspace” and design system.

  • Much improved performance.

  • You can now customize workflows using metadata.

  • You can now create “collections” which are flexible, saved views of your assets.

  • You use new Project Templates, a library of start projects, to help start your workflows.

  • A new “Share builder” that lets you fine-tune every element of your media library.

  • An updated video player.

  • You can now anchor your comments on any point or pixel in the frame of your video, image, or design file.

  • You can filter comments (feedback).

  • You can now automatically sync your camera footage to Frame.io while you’re recording.

📰 Other news you might’ve missed:

  • Epidemic Sound released a plug-in for Adobe Premiere Pro.

  • Sequence introduced LUTs, allowing you to choose from 13 new LUTs (and more to come).

  • OpusClip is hosting events at NAB Show 2024 (hosted by Roberto Blake) on April 15th and 16th.

  • Webflow is hosting the Webflow Conf on Oct. 15-16 in San Francisco (+ online) and on Oct. 21-22 in London.

  • ElevenLabs and Pika are launching a 72-hour AI film competition called “FilmFAST” from Apr. 12-14.

  • Fable released a “Pixelate” effect.
