🎵 Introducing “Sound Effects” on Pika, Create Any Sound Effect with AI

📸 pika.art

This week, Pika (a text-to-video AI tool that we previously covered) released a new update that allows you to automatically generate sound effects with your AI videos.

Imagine being able to create videos with life-like audio, from the realistic crackling of bacon to the croak of a frog and the distant buzz of flies.

This follows their recent introduction of “Lip Sync,” which allowed characters in AI-generated videos to have synchronized lip movements with spoken words.

It looks like Pika is slowly elevating AI-generated content by integrating sound effects, voiceovers, and visuals all into a single platform.

The “Sound Effects” feature is currently only available to paying Pro users and “Super Collaborators” but will be available to all users “soon.”

👥 Midjourney Releases “Consistent Characters” Feature

📸 venturebeat.com

MidJourney released a new “Consistent Characters” feature that enables users to maintain consistent character traits across images.

Like other features in MidJourney, maintaining character consistency is achieved by adding a code at the end of your prompt. In this instance, you'll use —cref followed by the image URL.

Nick St. Pierre (@NickFloats) created an amazing thread on how to use this new feature; click here to read it.

This week we discovered a free, new, collaborative, web-based motion design tool called Fable. It’s meant to bring a more user-friendly UI to motion design (unlike Adobe After Effects).

They just opened a unique feature called “Fable Prism” to the public. This feature allows motion designers to overlay generative AI styles on top of their animations.

Just take a look at these examples:

Fable has a generous free plan that includes the following features:

  • Unlimited personal projects

  • Unlimited viewers

  • Inline commenting & review

  • 30-day version history

  • 30-second projects

  • Export up to 1080p, 30fps

  • Export .mp4, .mov, .gif, Lottie
