ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
āŒ Procreate says no to AI

Procreate, the popular iPad design app, has made waves in the digital art community by pledging never to incorporate generative AI tools into its products.

ā€œI really f****** hate generative AI.ā€

Procreate CEO, James Cuda

While many platforms are embracing AI, Procreate is taking a different approach, emphasizing its commitment to supporting artists over chasing new tech trends.

This decision has resonated with users, especially as other companies like Adobe face criticism for their AI integration.

Procreateā€™s anti-AI pledge may set a new standard for art and design tools, focusing on keeping the creative process in human hands.

PHOTOGRAPHY
šŸ“ø Adobe announces Frame.io and Lightroom integration

Adobe just announced an exciting new feature that integrates Frame.io with Adobe Lightroom.

Frame.io, started in 2014, changed video editing by letting teams easily review and comment on videos online. Itā€™s known for making video collaboration smoother and was bought by Adobe in 2021, adding new features like Camera-to-Cloud for faster uploads.

  • Starting in beta, photographers with cameras that support Camera-to-Cloud (C2C) can now upload images directly from their cameras to Frame.io.

  • From there, they can instantly edit those images in Lightroom, streamlining the workflow from capture to final edit.

  • This means photographers can work all day without stopping to move or download their photos.

Instead, they can send their pictures straight to the cloud, where editors who are not on-site can edit and deliver them right away.
