Rooms is currently in beta, and Descript is inviting users to join the waitlist to try it out and provide feedback.
Descript also introduced two other ways to streamline podcast production 👇️
🔗 Zoom Integration
1) Users can now open and edit their Zoom recordings directly in Descript, which speeds up and simplifies the process.

ANIMATION
⚡️ LottieLab Releases “Interactivity”
Lottielab has introduced a new feature called “Interactivity,” designed to make creating and exporting interactive Lottie animations easier than ever in one single editor.
For those who don’t know, “Lottie” animations are lightweight, vector-based animations that can be easily integrated into mobile and web applications.
This update aims to streamline the process for design and product teams, who previously relied on developers to add interactive elements to their animations.
With Lottielab “Interactivity,” designers can now:
🔢 Quickly create and adjust animation states with options for blending and custom easing.
📆 Add interactive elements like hovering and clicking on any part of your animation.
⭐️ Set up unique events and actions to connect animations with user interactions in code.
🔗 Export designs from Figma to Lottielab in one click to create interactive animations for your site or app.

🖼️ Halide releases “Process Zero,” Removes Image Processing Entirely
Popular iPhone camera app Halide released an update that introduces a new feature called “Process Zero,” which removes all AI and standard image processing from your photos.
Traditionally, iPhone cameras use advanced algorithms to enhance images, often resulting in a polished but sometimes overly processed look.
Process Zero, on the other hand, is giving photographers a raw, unfiltered view of their photos, similar to older digital cameras.
This is a one-of-a-kind feature and takes “RAW” photos to an entirely different level.
Just take a look at these examples:

The processing is significantly faster than previous methods, offering up to 25 times the speed of Apple’s ProRAW.
