🖼️ Photoshop releases “Adjust Colors”

The new “Adjust Colors” feature (📹 by Howard Pinsky)
This week, Adobe released a new feature in Photoshop (Beta) called “Adjust Colors,” introducing a new way to adjust the prominent colors in your images in seconds.
Previously, users would have to select from a handful of preset colors presets (e.g. Red, Yellows, Greens, Cyans, Blues, and Magentas), but now, users can simply pick from the different “prominent” colors that Photoshop identifies in an image and change it’s hue, saturation, and lightness.
This new feature can be found in the “Contextual Toolbar,” but can also be found in the familiar “Hue & Saturation” adjustment layer settings 👇

Here, have some jet fuel
Your newsletter, now exiting the stratosphere.
We’re beehiiv, the newsletter platform built for builders. Every product we drop and feature we create is made with one goal in mind: exponential growth.
Our three founders left Morning Brew to bring the tools and tech to creators everywhere that helped turn their old company into a multi-million dollar operation. So when we say we can take you from “up-and-comer” to household name, we mean it.
If you need a beautiful destination for your content, use our no-code website builder. If you want paid subs, we don’t take a dime. If you want big name sponsors, we connect you with the likes of Nike and Netflix.
In short: maybe your newsletter is stuck on the ground floor because your newsletter platform is stuck in the last decade.

🤖 “MCPs” for Blender and Figma

Over the past few weeks, MCPs (Machine Code Processors) have gained popularity for their ability to connect AI-coding tools like Cursor and Claude to creative tools like Figma and Blender.
In simple terms, an MCP can connect AI tools to design or coding programs, making them work together seamlessly.
Imagine you’re sketching a design in Figma or building a 3D model in Blender— an MCP acts as a bridge, letting an AI coding tool understand your work and automatically generate code, refine layouts, or suggest improvements, saving you time.
How I generated a high quality 3D model in Blender, from a simple 2D image, using Claude 3.7!

Cursor is able to build out Figma designs with 80% accuracy with the Figma MCP server.
I wonder where we get to in the next few months

For example:
In Figma, an MCP can analyze a designer’s wireframe or prototype and automatically generate code or refine layouts (example).
In Blender, MCPs could interpret a designer’s 3D sketches or animations and suggest improvements or complete complex tasks like rigging or texturing, making the process faster and more accessible (example).
Right now, you can open Figma or Blender, create or link your project, and give the AI access to it through the MCP, and AI coding tools can then whip up code or ideas based on your work.
After that, you can essentially modify design projects while using an AI-coding tool without directly interacting with Blender and Figma.
🧩 Built an MCP that lets Claude talk directly to Blender. It helps you create beautiful 3D scenes using just prompts!

Beyond Blender and Figma, MCPs could theoretically integrate with other creative tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Unity, depending on whether someone builds an MCP server for those platforms and connects them to AI systems.
