🎨 Premiere Pro releases “Color Management”

“Color Management” in action

Last week, Adobe Premiere Pro (Beta) made it 10x easier to mix and match footage from different cameras.

Premiere Pro will now automatically adjust the colors of raw and log clips (SDR or HDR) on your timeline, eliminating the need for LUTs or manual color corrections.

This is currently only available in the Adobe Premiere Pro beta.

For exampleif you’re working on a video that includes clips shot on a smartphone, a DSLR, and a drone, the new automatic color adjustments ensure that all those diverse sources match seamlessly in your final edit.

There are six presets that do the hard work for you, but if you’re feeling advanced, you can dive into custom settings.

Plus, you can now work with high-quality color spaces like Rec709 or the new wide-gamut Asus CCT for even better color.

This will work automatically on any footage taken on the following camera brands 👇️

This update improves the look of your videos by smoothing skin tones, improving dynamic range, and adding richer colors with less work.

If you use LUTs, they will automatically adjust to your footage for the best results. Color management also works with After Effects, so your videos will look the same in both programs!
