TOP STORY
📹️ Premiere Pro releases “Generative Extend”

This week, Adobe released Premiere Pro 25.2 at NAB 2025, introducing powerful AI-powered features and workflow enhancements.
These features were previously available in beta but are now available to all Creative Cloud users!
NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) is a major annual trade show and conference for professionals in the media, entertainment, and technology industries, particularly those involved in content creation, management, and delivery.
Here’s everything that was released 👇️
1) Generative Extend 📹️

Adobe introduced “Generative Extend,” a Firefly AI-powered feature that can add extra 4K frames to clips that are too short. This helps editors create perfect transitions or hold emotional moments longer.
The feature works in the background and marks clips with Content Credentials to indicate AI usage.
2) Media Intelligence 🔍️

The new Search panel with “Media Intelligence” allows editors to search through hours of footage in seconds.
It automatically recognizes objects, locations, and camera angles in clips, supporting natural language search terms.
Users can find visuals, dialog, or metadata simultaneously without needing an internet connection, as analysis happens locally.
3) Color Management 🎨

“Color Management” is a new drag-and-drop color management system that simplifies the normalization of log and raw video clips.
Essentially, Premiere Pro will now automatically adjust the colors of raw and log clips (SDR or HDR) on your timeline, eliminating the need for LUTs or manual color corrections.
4) Auto-Translate Captions ✨

Premiere Pro will now offer automatic translation of captions into 27 languages using AI.
Multiple caption tracks can be displayed simultaneously to show various languages or assist with editing in different languages, helping creators reach global audiences without leaving the application.
