TOP STORY
✨ Relume releases “Style Guide Builder”

This week, Relume (a new design startup) launched a “Style Guide Builder,” a tool aimed to help users create websites and design concepts quickly by generating style guides with AI.
The Style Guide Builder allows users to apply the brand assets the AI generates (e.g., color palettes, typography, and styles) directly to a homepage, with the option to shuffle through different combinations.

There’s also options to export these guides to popular platforms like Figma and Webflow, with React support expected soon.
The feature was first released in beta last November, but is now available to all users.

FROM OUR FRIENDS @ BEEHIIV
Here, have some jet fuel
Your newsletter, now exiting the stratosphere.
We’re beehiiv, the newsletter platform built for builders. Every product we drop and feature we create is made with one goal in mind: exponential growth.
Our three founders left Morning Brew to bring the tools and tech to creators everywhere that helped turn their old company into a multi-million dollar operation. So when we say we can take you from “up-and-comer” to household name, we mean it.
If you need a beautiful destination for your content, use our no-code website builder. If you want paid subs, we don’t take a dime. If you want big name sponsors, we connect you with the likes of Nike and Netflix.
In short: maybe your newsletter is stuck on the ground floor because your newsletter platform is stuck in the last decade.
ANIMATION
🏆️ Oscar-winning film was created with “Blender”

This week, "Flow" (directed by Gints Zilbalodis) won the Oscar for “Best Animated Feature,” winning over films from billion dollar giants Disney, Pixar, and DreamWorks.
The craziest part? This film was created entirely using Blender, a free, open-source 3D modelling and animation tool (!!!) 🤯

Starting in 2019, Zilbalodis switched to Blender for its real-time renderer EEVEE, which accelerated production despite limited resources.
The team even developed custom tools within Blender, like add-ons for water effects and stylized fur, turning technical constraints into a distinctive watercolor-like aesthetic that captivated audiences and critics alike.
The small indie team also was nominated for “Best International Feature Film” at the Oscars and won “Best Animated Feature Film” at the Golden Globes.
With a budget of just $3.7 million, Flow beat out Disney’s “Inside Out 2” ($200m budget) and Dreamworks’ “The Wild Robot” ($78m budget).
Here’s a 1 hour breakdown on how Flow was animated 👇️
